Peer Review Process

To ensure the quality of the Journal, all manuscript submissions are first reviewed by the managing editor to assess their general suitability.

Submissions approved for the subsequent review process are evaluated by additional reviewers. Decisive for the selection of reviewers is their professional expertise and familiarity with the language in which the article is written. The academic board and a network of international experts are consulted for this purpose.

The assessment is conducted in the form of a peer review by anonymous reviewers (single-blind procedure). The result of the review (acceptance/rejection/need for revision) is usually communicated to the submitting author within 2 to 6 weeks.
